yea it usually is funny as hell when someone gets hurt so its kinda like sympathy as well as breaking out in laughter lol

*laughs* Ok, if someone breaks something, it isn't funny..but if someone trips on a banana, for some reason, that's always funny..but I've never seen it happen in real life..

*laughs* my best friend's brother was getting paddled by their father..and his father broke the paddle on his rear...but it didn't even hurt the guy!

They do in Texas. Which is probably why many more kids down there actually have manners. *shakes head* I'm sick and tired of getting stared at whenever I call the teacher "ma'am" or "sir"!

lol cause thats old school (literally) stuff.......... they did that back in the 1900s.......... now its just Mrs/Mr/Ms whoever................ its also too military like.............. cause thats for like heavy disciplinary things nowadays.............

*shrugs* Hey, you'd be surprised..I did this heinous looking poster for my Earth Science class, but I got an A + on it..I think cuz the teacher was from the South and loved the fact I called him sir..he told me no matter what, I was not to lose my manners. So obviously, it helps a bit...plus, the few times I talk in class, if the teacher says "Melanie, please stop talking" I just say "yes sir" or "yes ma'am" and they usually smile and say "Oh, that's all right"
Personally, I believe in corpral punishment. A lot more schools should have it.

Yes, I believe in it! If the kid did something wrong, obviously saying "now, now, stop doing that" isn't helping!

Detention? I had that before..I was stuck in a room and told to do my homework. It's not that bad..I've never even heard of Saturday school..
