Actually, Allan, the gorgons were three sisters, one of them being Medusa, she was the only one of the three that wasn't immortal. So, obviously, she was killed.
I dunno, what power do you want?!

Tehnically, it's both Greek and Roman mythology. One of my personal faves. Mythology is basically stories meant to explain the origin of something.
Hm...maybe Kitty's glare can make things burst into flames, you know, causing human combustion? (obviously not spontaneous human combustion, since she caused it...but the authorities wouldn't know that, now, would they?)

In the alleged cases of spontaneous human combustion, the person who combusted was typically an alcoholic, thus leading to the belief it was God's way of punishing them.

you forgot phoenix lol aliens are always interesting but most UFO reports are hoaxes and just meant to gain publicity. While some may be real, for the most part they are experimental military aircraft. I was into Greek mythology back in 6th grade for awhile and then i kinda lost interest in it.............. though i like sci-fi stuff and mysterious history things.............
